Hurry Up and Weight!
Started the morning off with a good round of kickboxing class which was topped off by some Cage Fitness style ab work. (They just started offering Cage Fitness at the Martial Arts studo but I did not take the course as I have enough on my plate with kickboxing and marathon training). I will say however that I really enjoy the change up in the ab work like that - its tough but that makes it a fun challenge and keeps things interesting.
I brought stuff with me to work to run again - but had a busy day and since miles are not on the schedule for today just decided to stick with the plan and did not run today.
I did call the foot doctors office to see if the orthotics were in yet (as they were only supposed to take 3-5 business days and it has been 10!) and of course they are in but he needs to do a fitting/verification with me and the earlier they could get me in was next Tuesday. Not sure I am happy about that considering I paid the upcharge to get them expedited. Hurry up, and wait scenario.
Oh well - one more week to see if these help out. I have been faithfully wearing my brace to sleep in at night - but can only stand it for a few hours as I always wake up with my toes a little numb (probably from my foot trying to straighten out in my sleep) and take the brace off. But I have had a few good days for both heels/arches now so a little bit of everything I am doing seems to be working.
Still struggling with eatting - what to eat, when to eat, how much. Sure I know the details and have in real life is not easy for me, or anyone else I guess. Just have to make some more changes as I have been stuck at this weight for about a year now - even though I am constantly working out and/or running consistently for 6 days a week - faithfully.
