100 pushups started Monday with a BANG
Today was kickboxing…and we were working on our rounds and then in between Alison throws in 50 air squats. No big deal I think to myself I can handle those.
Back to more kickboxing and then another 50 air squats - again I think wow we are doing these really quick need to make sure I am dropping low enough but I can handle this.
Again back to kickboxing - then a quick water break and then the announcement of 100 pushups is lofted into the atmosphere.
And so it began - 10 reps of the following styles of pushups (standard was repeated in there somewhere):
- Standard
- Wide Grip
- Tricep
- Good mornings with a 10count hold each
- Standard but with a 4 count hold in the lower position
- Spiderman
- Not sure the name but you pull your knees in, in, across, across, out out and then pushup
- Dive Bombers
- EDIT: Forgot to include Release push-ups on this list!
And that is how we tackled 100 air squats and 100 pushups during the course of kickboxing today.
